Invited to the conference celebrating the 20th anniversary of the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus programme on 27 and 28 May 2024, the FAMEAIS Erasmus Mundus master’s programme, coordinated by Grenoble INP – UGA, received the Best Poster Award.
Erasmus Mundus has been a flagship programme of Erasmus+ since it was created. In the space of 20 years, it has funded more than 110,000 mobilities, supported more than 34,000 students, launched 585 Masters programmes and involved 179 countries.
These figures demonstrate its impact on the internal reform and internationalisation of Europe’s higher education institutions, particularly in the context of graduation policies, innovative teaching methods and the diversification of trainings offers.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the programme, the coordination team of the FAMEAIS Master in Grenoble and one of the current master’s students, attended the celebration event organised by the European Commission.
Between testimonies from European Commission officers, participating universities and Alumni from all over the world, and the Award ceremony of the 5 longest-running Erasmus Mundus master’s programmes and the 10 most active European universities, the FAMEAIS Master is proud to have received the Best Poster Award in recognition not only of its poster, but also of its impact on the training of master students in materials science over the past 17 years. Launched in 2007, the prestigious FAMEAIS master is one of the 5% of Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters to have been awarded a 4th label.
